Horizon International Bilingual School is committed to fostering essential 21st-century skills through innovative learning practices. The Bring Your Own Device (BYOD) programme is a key part of this commitment, integrating technology into everyday education. This enables students to access a wide range of digital resources, engage in collaborative projects, and participate actively in interactive lessons, enhancing their learning experience.

Student Expectations

Students are expected to bring laptops or tablets that meet specified technical guidelines and are fully charged each day. Devices must be used strictly for educational purposes, align with the Acceptable Use Policy, and reflect responsible digital citizenship. 

The Character Education programme guides students on ethical digital behaviour, emphasizing respect for privacy and appropriate content use.

Digital Safety & Management

The school is committed to providing a safe digital learning environment through the use of:

• Fortinet firewall for secure network access and protection against cyber threats
• JamF for effective device and application management
• FastVue for proactive monitoring of online activities and safeguarding student wellbeing

Through the BYOD programme, students develop research skills, critical thinking, and teamwork, preparing them for the digital demands of higher education and the modern workforce.
